The rule#
The price is $0.25 for every 40 pages of a document, rounded up to the next unit. A document is limited to 400 pages. The page count is the document's own page count; you do not pay per field, per call or per output format.

A backlog of 1,000 documents of 40 pages or fewer therefore costs $250. Every response includes a billing object with pages, documents_billed and cost_usd, so you can reconcile each call.
Prepaid credit#
You buy credit in the dashboard in packs of $25, $100 or $500, priced in US dollars, pounds or euros through Stripe. VAT or sales tax is added where it applies, and you get an invoice for each payment. There is no subscription and no minimum. Credit expires 12 months after purchase. GET /api/account and the MCP tool get_account return your balance and recent usage.
What is not charged#
- Failed extractions. If a document cannot be processed, the reservation is released and nothing is billed.
- Sample. The website sample of three documents is free and needs no card.
Refunds#
Unused credit is refundable within 30 days of purchase, proportionally and including tax, to the original payment method. Used credit is deducted. Billing errors are refunded in full within 12 months. The refund policy has the details.
Compare with doing it by hand#
Entering one SDS into an EHS system by hand takes a person real time, and the result varies from person to person.
