What we have shipped and what we are exploring. Items under Exploring are ideas we are weighing, not promises, and carry no dates. Dated history is in the changelog; service health is on the status page.

Shipped.
- Prepaid credit and billing. Per-customer API keys, a prepaid balance, page-based pricing ($0.25 per 40 pages), card checkout in USD, GBP and EUR with VAT and invoices, and a refund policy.
- Dashboard. Sign in with Google or email, a workbench for single and batch extractions, 30-day history, key management and billing.
- Agent access. A remote MCP server listed in the official registry, an agent skill, and machine-readable discovery files.
- Fixed output schema. Schema 1.0 with 16 sections and about 100 fields, version pinning and a deprecation policy.
- Bulk jobs. Up to 10 files per job, signed webhooks, idempotency keys and per-file results.
- Clients. Python and JavaScript clients and a Postman collection.
- Public status page. Live checks and 90-day uptime at status.safetydatasheetapi.com.
Exploring.
- Additional client libraries beyond Python and JavaScript.
- Further fields and a later schema version, added without breaking schema 1.0.
- More tooling for reviewing low-confidence records.
- More published documentation for regulated-industry and EHS integrations.
